the three biggest inspirations i had in doing a blog were these three photoblog sites
karen wise
hanna mac
oh so posh photography
the first is an amazing brooklyn based wedding and food photographer which i had the privilege of interning with while i was going to school at pratt institute.
the second two are children photographers who have beautiful styles and have captivated me not only with their work, but also with their stories.
other photographers that have inspired me are
elizabeth drews
this is actually a good friend from high school she studied photography in boston, ma and she does anything from weddings, to portraits to documentary photographer.
lindsey mckinley
this is a photographer who i stumbled upon online, i have been a fan of her work ever since, she has a interesting style that combines traditional wedding photography with fun and whimsy

another thing i have finally decided to learn is how to make the eyes pop so they dont look so dull. it actually is extremely simple it seriously is just two steps, i dont know why i didnt figure this out sooner! the first image is with the eye pop, the second is sooc. i will definitely be doing this to all of my portraits from now on.
so i have recently discovered photoshop actions. i love that i can record the steps of editing that i do and recreate it on any photo i want with just the click of a button. it has actually inspired me to play around more with my photos to give it a different feel than normal. the very bottom image is the one straight out of the camera (SOOC) the next is a normal edit i do, i usually dont like to alter my work too much. the other two are actions i created to see what else i can do with this image.
